Totem is a leader in benefits consulting and is seeking outgoing individuals interested in working part-time in a casual environment. Located in Alpharetta, in the desirable Halcyon area, they deliver an atypical business model with the goal of customer service and satisfaction.

This position involves answering inbound calls to assist employees with questions and topics related to their healthcare insurance benefits while delivering excellent customer service.

The Benefits Specialist provides high-touch, day-to-day employee benefits support for our clients. Full time hours during their busy season (October/November) would be appreciated.


Key Responsibilities

· Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy, professionalism and clear communication via telephonic enrollments

· Respond promptly and accurately to employee and HR inquiries

· Assist with online and telephonic enrollments, eligibility updates and benefit related questions

· Escalate issues as appropriate, and follow through to resolution

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Empathy and emotional intelligence in employee interactions

· Comfort with technology, and ability to embrace technology using multiple systems effectively

· Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment

· Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information

· Experience in customer service is preferred
