Official Halcyon Rules of Conduct

HALCYON is private property. In order to provide a safe, secure, and pleasant environment, we request your cooperation in complying with the following “Rules of Conduct” to be followed by all patrons.

1. HALCYON is for shopping, dining & entertainment. Treat others as you like to be treated. Appropriate behavior does not include fighting, rough-housing, harassment, offending others or provoking confrontations, or disruptive conduct of any nature.

2. Act responsibly. Please refrain from …

  • Shouting, making loud noises, or using indecent language
  • Playing loud music other than what the Property provides
  • Throwing or kicking any objects
  • Leaving children unattended
  • Defacing, damaging, or destroying any property belonging to the Property, its patrons, or its tenants
  • Assembling in a manner that disturbs the public peace

3. Allow others to shop safely and comfortably. Please …

  • Do not block access to store entrances and corridor or parking areas
  • Walk; don’t run, skate, or skateboard
  • Do not ride bicycles in public gathering areas or sidewalks; please walk bicycles
  • Park bicycles in designated bicycle racks
  • Do not ride electric bicycles or scooters on the roadways; please walk electric bicycles and scooters on sidewalks and common areas
  • Use our benches, chairs, and lower walls for sitting
  • All animals and/or pets are welcome on the property and should be on a leash; pet stations and water bowls are located throughout the center for your convenience – do not leave animals unattended in parked cars
  • This is a smoke-free property – no smoking or vaping, including all electronic cigarettes (there is a designated smoking area on the fourth level of the parking garage)
  • WEAPONS OF ANY TYPE ARE NOT PERMITTED ON HALCYON PROPERTY

4. No glass is permitted in common areas. Food and beverages consumed on-site should be purchased from Halcyon establishments.

5. No public forums, no personal gatherings including but not limited to picnics and parties.

6. Observe all Federal, State, and Local Laws. Use of alcoholic beverages is restricted to designated areas and designated containers. During regular school hours, excluding lunch breaks, unaccompanied minors will be asked to leave the property.

7. Please dress appropriately and observe all health codes and local laws. Clothing should not be worn which is obscene or offensive in nature.

8. Please visit the Management Office to request permission to take videotapes, professional photo shoots or make audio tapes of or on Halcyon property or storefronts. Without prior, written permission from Management, no such activity is permitted.

9. Distribution of literature, solicitation, demonstrations, and special promotions or using the property for any purpose other than shopping is prohibited without prior written permission from the Management Office as permitted by law. If you have any questions, please visit the Management Office for more information.

10. The parking garage are reserved for retail shoppers and employees, office guests and employees and hotel guests with overnight reservations and employees ONLY.  Paid surface lots are only for use of customers.  All employees are required to park on Levels 3-6 and may not park in surface lot for any reason.  Embassy Suites guests and employees are required to park on Level 4 or higher and must always have hotel hangtag visible.  Overnight parking by permit only.  All others will be towed at owner’s expense.

11. When HALCYON is closed, please leave the property. Please do not park or loiter on the property after closing. Unauthorized vehicles parked overnight may be towed at Owner’s expense.

12. Please follow these Rules of Conduct. If you do not, we will ask you to leave and stay away for a specified period of time. You may also be subject to prosecution for violation of applicable laws or ordinances.
